It’s Dinovember, and the dinosaurs are coming out to play, make messes, and have a good time – inspired by Refe and Susan Tuma’s fun picture book What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night. Have some toy dinosaurs at home? Email a photo of the mischief they can get into while everyone’s asleep, and the most creative entry will win an ultra-cool dinosaur pop-up book!
Don’t have any toy dinos? Draw a few, cut them out, and pose them in crazy scenes.
Entries are due by Thanksgiving. See the winning entry below!
Don’t forget to stop by the library all month long to read our brand new dinosaur-themed Storywalk® story, grab some dino coloring pages, and check out the fun dinosaur books & movies on display. If you’re looking for a bit of inspiration, head over to the Dinovember website. Then, email your own entry to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Congrats to Our Winner!!
Sawyer’s dinosaurs read the book Dinosailors written by Deb Lund and illustrated by Howard Fine. (You can read it, too! Just click on the link above.) And see that dinosaur stuck in the ice down there? His friends are trying to rescue him by chipping him out of the ice! Sawyer sure has some brave and adventurous dinos!
